Responsibilities:
● Provide a high-level description of the Nawah Quality Assurance program, program objectives and accountability.
● Implement ISO 9001 Standards to continue driving performance and meet dosimetry customer expectations and continuously improve the QMS.
● Manage all BNPP unit dosimetry and calibration activities in accordance to ISO 17025:2017.
● Establishing the Radiation Dosimetry Quality Assurance Manual.
● Lead the identification of any potential dosimetry and calibration issues, and the analysis of cause effects and take appropriate actions to remediate deficiencies and prevent their reoccurrences.
● Lead the development and maintenance of dosimetry and calibration programs, processes, and procedures to ensure adherence and standardization across BNPP units, and alignment with regulatory standards as they are updated.
● Provide support to the plant organization in preparation and conduct of World Association of Nuclear Operator
● (WANO) and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) evaluations to ensure alignment with standards.
● Facilitate the creation and management of the Site Support RS budget to align with plant operations budget.
● Provide support to the creation of the Health Safety and Environment procedure for all site radiological operation and aligning the process with ISO 45011 while implementing the OSHA standards in terms of Radiation safety.
● Chair the quarterly Radiation impact on the environment and workers and maintain the training agenda to ensure all department is trained and properly qualified.
• Manage and implement radiation protection fixed and portable instruments, ensuring accuracy and availability.
• Oversee the Radiation Safety Department budgeting system.
• Lead the Quality Audit in accordance with ISO 17025 and ISO 45001.
• Develop the Internal Audit Plan for ISO 17025.
• Manage and maintain dosimetry equipment accreditation through self-assessments.
• Serve as Quality Manager in the ISO 17025 organization chart.
• Lead self-assessments to optimize TLD reading frequency from monthly to quarterly.
• Arrange contracts for biological sample shipping and analysis for potential Alpha particle contamination.
