- Perform daily monitoring, corrective & routine maintenance and periodical verification & calibration of on-line analyzers and all associated equipment for the control and monitoring systems at site to ensure they are operating safely and comply with Borouge HSE standards
- Conduct field work in maintaining all on-line analyzers and sampling systems including trouble shooting of failures, validation and calibration to retain them in functional and good operating order for reliable performance
- Identify problematic analyzers and areas for upgrade/replacement, assist in developing analyzer reliability improvement measures & maintenance procedures and management of analyzer spare parts, calibration gases and informational databases
- Review work notifications, manages work orders and provides details of maintenance activities for CMMS/SAP records
- Maintain auditable documentation, fiscal quality (calibration records of each analyzer) and environmental requirements including dossiers for certified calibration gases and equipment
- Assist in co-coordinating with the Laboratory to resolve discrepancies between on-line versus Laboratory sample analysis and verification of calibration gas composition when in doubt
- Co-ordinates remedial actions to system faults encountered with operating equipment within the department
- This includes participating in the diagnosis and repair of major faults and breakdowns
- Participate in acceptance tests of new and upgraded systems, identifies deficiencies, ensures all documentation are furnished and provides punch list
- Participate in the review of Preventive Maintenance program and recommend necessary changes from time to time based on maintenance history to ensure long-term performance targets are achieved
- Ensure safety of personnel and equipment through compliance with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies, procedures and standards
- Periodically conduct toolbox meetings with co-technicians and insist strict adherence to company's safety rules
- Participate as required in the planning of major maintenance and plant shutdowns
- This includes highlighting specific items of equipment which require maintenance and material requirement
- Frequent internal contacts with other maintenance, process and utilities personnel to monitor and maintain equipment performance
