  • As the leader of FINCA Armenia's Information Services, I oversaw a team of 14 employees across 4 units: System/Network Administration, Core Banking Support, Field Support (HelpDesk), Development, and Integration. I actively participated in management meetings and successfully implemented complex IT solutions within the organization.
  • I demonstrated strong leadership skills by spearheading local and global IT projects, as well as preparing the annual budget for all IT expenses, including forecasting for personnel, hardware and software, services and applications, and cloud-based solutions.
  • As the main point person for project planning, estimation, and implementation, I ensured the availability of the technology environment (hardware/OS/database) for development, testing, and production stages by working closely with vendors. I also prepared an overall IT strategy and plan, and led the digitization of FINCA Armenia's business operations.
  • With a keen eye for security and risk management, I took charge of information security and business continuity planning. I prepared and enforced IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure efficient and secure IT operations within the organization.


Development Processes

As the leader of software development processes in FINCA, I spearheaded the development of two major tools that transformed our loan processing and client relationship management capabilities.

  • The first tool, a Business Process Management (BPM) platform, fully automated our loan processing and disbursement processes, greatly increasing efficiency and reducing processing times. BPM is fully used in FINCA branches as main Loan processing application. it cut the time on loan processing from 2 days to minutes with automated ARCA and NORK/EKENG integration, Automated client categorization (scoring), Sync with AS Bank system, automated email and SMS, Loan agreement PDF generation, etc.
  • The second tool, OneView, is a CRM platform that provides a 360-degree view of our clients' profiles, loans, and other relevant information. By centralizing this information, we were able to better understand our clients' needs and provide them with tailored services and solutions. Fully integrated with VoIP solution, so call-center sees client's info automatically on each call. It also supports lead generation with task management and assignments. This tool was also widely used by PLM department for overdue loan tracking and processing.
  • As the driving force behind FINCA's digital transformation efforts, I led the development of our Online Loan Application (OLA) platform - a fully automated, cutting-edge loan processing application. Utilizing the latest AI tools, OLA automatically scans and extracts information from attached documents, validates attached photos, compares selfies to attached document photos, and processes loan applications in seconds with credit scoring. With OLA, we revolutionized our loan processing capabilities, greatly reducing the time and effort required for loan applications. The platform's advanced AI technology not only increased our efficiency, but also improved the accuracy and reliability of our loan processing. As a result of my leadership and direction, FINCA Armenia became one of the first microfinance institutions in the region to offer fully automated online loan processing, setting a new standard for digital innovation and customer experience in the industry. The OLA platform has helped us better serve our clients and position ourselves as a leader in the digital transformation of financial services. Processed more than 200 loans applications per day.

Through my leadership and direction, we successfully achieved these major objectives, greatly improving our organizational processes and capabilities while significantly reducing costs.
