Accomplishments

  • MiFitness: Single-handedly set up the Mifitness branch in the UAE and promoted to business developer for the GCC region.
  • Operations: I was dropped off by myself and began my journey. I created all the policies and procedures. I found warehousing and logistics, organised stock, created the website and set up the showroom.
  • Marketing: I created strategies to penetrate the market. I analysed the market by completing research and pricing models, as well as a competition analysis, to determine which segment was achievable for us to pursue.
  • I used my initiative to search for sales and therefore set up a reseller partnership with all fitness companies in the UAE- Active Fitness, 1441, Athletix, Urban Cart, Miracle Fitness, Wellness Terminal, Powerhouse Fitness, Garner Fitness, etc.
  • Created marketing campaign and plans to ensure brand awareness. As we were new here, I utilised social media to understand the best platforms to use to increase revenue per specific department. I analyse all social media and e-commerce data daily to ensure my strategy is efficient and positively affecting the bottom line.
  • Exhibitions: I set up Mifitness at the Muscles and Fitness Show in Abu Dhabi. I set up and ran two successful Dubai Active shows.
  • Sales: I complete all quotes and 3d drawings myself as well as oversee delivery and installation I am customer-centric.
  • Hold 1st and 2nd place for the highest single sale for the company in the 17 years MiFitness has been operating.
  • Large projects: I have completed multiple large projects, to name just a few.
  • I completed the biggest ladies' gym in the UAE in RAK called Type S with no resources, just through pure communication skills and fitness knowledge.

  • Completing Emerald Properties and they chose me over Vision Fitness as their preferred supplier for two residential apartment buildings. The main reason was because of how I approached and communicated with them.
  • We only officially opened with stock and a shared showroom in August 2023, and I have built a business with sales over 3 million AED. This might not seem much to a larger organisation. With the resources I had and the never-die attitude to ensuring Mifitness would be successful was my positive nature and my belief in my ability.
  • Verimark: Promoted to Marketing Executive because of the following achievements, and my knowledge and adaptability to the retail environment. Therefore, I have been promoted twice in three years.
  • My job was to source products and build relationships with suppliers. Formulated pricing for each product. Create a TV commercial advert that would be aired nationally and ensure our online presence through digital marketing is effective. Created a portfolio of profitable items and managed product life cycles.
  • Verimark is the biggest direct TV company in South Africa, and the marketing department was made up of five members, including me.
  • Verimark: 26 months working as Area Manager for Verimark Direct. The last 9 months, I have reached my budget every month and gone well over my budget as well. (All documents for proof can be provided)
  • I am the only Area manager nationwide who has reached the above achievement.
  • Verimark: Promoted to area manager while only being at the company for 18 months. Managed over one hundred employees. I was involved with all sales-related aspects for each shop, commission payroll and training.
  • Verimark: A Managed Pick N Pay account is an exceedingly difficult and volatile account. Controlled the portfolio of shops from 30 to 40.
  • Grew my area with five extra shops.
  • Never missed a call or workday.
  • Managed three hyper stores.
  • Managed between 5-10 promoters.
  • Only Rep hits the December trade target under the PNP account.
  • Gymcompany: I achieved the highest sales in February 2017 and went well over the third target given to me.
  • Consistently reached annual target
  • Identified gaps in the market by hiring promotional & corporate managers.
  • The facility became profitable in the first 8 months of opening and was making a 25% profit.
  • Dischem: I worked my way up from Northgate, Randridge mall and Princess Crossing and finally got promoted to Fourways mall, the biggest supplement and vitamin department out of all Dischems.
  • While working for Dischem I got a long service award
  • Dischem Fourways was always the top two stores with Canal Walk Cape Town, our biggest competition out of all the Dischem stores nationwide.
  • We consistently won the store and supplier competition.
