• Manage maintenance and repairs in and out of the workshop.
• Create improvement plans for maintenance processes.
• Undertake all levels of servicing, maintenance and repairs of all moving equipment, trucks, trailers, 3-ton pickups, buses, light vehicles, and mobile plants.
• Capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion as well as supervising and guiding others.

• Communicate with the internal department operation and customer service.
• Prepare monthly report to the top management about workshop performance and expenses.

· Playing a pivotal role in ensuring that our fleet of buses are maintained to the standard required by the Company and the DVSA

· Achieving maximum vehicle availability and continually improving standards

· Coordinating with 3rd party manpower to support operation during high VOR & ensuring vehicle back on road

· Also Monitoring Health & Safety compliance/culture, fatigue management and employee wellbeing.

· Supporting on company budgeting & ensuring meeting the budget

· Monitoring parts inventory & coordinating with supplier to ensure timely delivery of high value parts on time to control on parts inventory value

• Attending complaints in trucks & hydraulic equipment, generators, water pump, Winches, SPMTs & trailers.
• Recommending & reviewing on new equipment / tractor spec.
• Maintenance in charge for all trucks & equipment in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait & Oman.
• Planning & deputing technician to attend complaints & maintenance all around GCC, Iran & Iraq.
• Responsible for all the activity carried out in 2 yards (Musaffah / Kizad yard).
• Responsible to implement new tools & system (checklist, procedure, etc) for workshop activities.
• In coordination with operation team to ensure project delivered as per schedule.
• Assigning right equipment for right project & ensuring ROI and availability of equipment.
• Part of company integration team & responsible for yard/workshop shifting & manpower planning of workshop/yard/HD drivers & operators.
• Appointed internal auditor for safety to ensure safe operation carried out at project site across UAE.

• Auditing 7 outlets in UAE regarding warranty, customer grievances resolution & inventory on quarterly basis.
• Effective allocation of job to the concerned technicians in order to reduce TAT & ROT.
• Documentation of technicians' jobs and provision of performance feedback to the technicians.
• Providing Technical Assistance to Foreman, Technicians and Service Engineers on Job and resolve.
• Providing Training to driver on functionality for equipment fitted on vehicles.
• Providing Technical support for additional equipment to be fitted on vehicles with pre-approval from OEMs.
• Monitoring & Preparing Technical Report on Pre-Mature failures of equipment and spares to be submitted to principal and obtain suitable solution and implementation of the Modification Monitoring trend of equipment and spares failure and prevent failure with suitable modification or Repair.
• Following up regular and periodic maintenance of all vehicles & machineries at various project sites.
• Maintaining a proper inventory of spare for smooth execution of operations in coordination with parts dept.
• Allocation of jobs to technicians/supervisors, planning workshop activities.
• Preparation of estimates of job/repair, follow up with customer for further necessary action.
• Diagnosing of complaints related to drive line, chassis, electrical & other accessories.
• Periodic service follow-up with customers.
• Consolidated excess & short settlement of warranty claims and reported to management.
• Successfully conducted BSC (Balance Score Card) Audit of Ashok Leyland, as Internal Auditor for TN branches.
• Spare parts audit on physical & system stock difference.
• Worked in coordination with McKinsey Consultant aimed at improving margin & process.
• Functioned as Lean & Kaizen Coordinator for all service outlets across Tamil Nadu.
• Worked in close coordination with Lean Consultant from Japan and Kaizen Consultant.
• Successfully reduced TAT & ROT through time study.
• Preparation of data for monthly review meeting.

• Handling Complaint jobs in Heavy Commercial Vehicles and Light Motor Vehicles.
