VEH PROJECT: Tesla sP100D battery pack

Modelled Tesla’s P100D roadster’s battery pack using MATLAB and Simulink by alternating its type of batteries utilized for propelling the vehicle from Lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries to Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries.

Group Design Project: Project Alpha – Cost-Effective Localization for autonomous vehicles.

Design a cost-effective localization system on the Cranfield MUEAVI road (Multi-User Environment for Autonomous Vehicle Innovation) in a simulation platform with the optimal configuration of sensors consist of 6 on board sensors and 3 infrastructure sensors.

Individual Thesis: Finite element analysis of ladder chassis and validation using FOSS

Perform finite element analysis (FEA) on the ladder frame of Mowag Duro 2 (military truck) using Abaqus CAE and validate the FEA by conducting an experimental analysis on the chassis with subjecting it to asymmetrical torsional loads representing a one-wheel bump model and measuringits deflections using DFOSS (Direct Fiber optic shape sensing. Established DFOSS as a measuring system for automotive structural health monitoring
