  • Rating of CDR’s from switch to the BSCS Production Server through TCC/IP protocol.
  • Fetched files are clubbed to a single SW file and inserted to the Rating engine for further processing.
  • The clubbed files are further fed to the BSCS various rating modules like (FIH, DRH, AIH, PRIH, RIH, RIHRG and RLH). Trouble shooting at various points related to Rating.
  • Bills are generated for the subscribers who has availed the service. Billing is done for period of time (30 days). Once the subscriber is activated in the system, he will be assigned to a Bill-cycle according to the dates set by the Marketing Department. Bill Cycle Handler takes care of Monthly Rentals, Free Minutes etc. and generates the TIMM messages for the subscriber for his usage which will be stored in the Database. IGH generates the physical bills which will be sent to the subscribers. Cross checking of the BCH logs is done in order to make sure all the subscriber sin the bill-cycle are billed. Trouble shooting and error rectification and documentation of the same is done in order to make the operations smooth.
  • Reconciliation of MOU, Subscriber between the CDR’s downloaded and the call details uploaded to the RTX database and with the HLR and BSCS system respectively. Carry out the end to end tests when a new shipment arrives.
  • Roaming Operations
  • Configuration of New Operator and when informed by the Marketing Department.
  • Carrying out the TADIG Testing for the new operators configured. Issuing the TAP certification on completion of the testing phase with the operators. Co-coordinating with the DCH for the Transfer of TAPIN and TAPOUT files. Reconciliation of TAPIN and TAPOUT files in order to ensure all the files are rated in the HPLMN and VPLMN. Taking care of file Operations for TAPIN and TAPOUT. Ensuring the Files are transferred to DCH on time and daily checking of TAPIN Missing files automated. Daily Roaming Report automated and sent to concerned persons. Trouble shooting of TAPIN errors occurred during the rating process
  • Prepaid Operations:-
  • Responsible for the prepaid mediation: - Ensuring Provisioning and De-provisioning of services in HLR to keep the subscriber’s services accurate. Implemented the Alert Mechanism in order to track and rectify the errors occurring, so that the delay is avoided. Keeping a track of errors occurred and steps for the rectification documented. Responsible for creating MML commands for the new service commissioning in the Prepaid System. And implementation of the SMS charging functionality for the prepaid subscribers.
