• Stock Management: Oversee accurate stock control, including receiving deliveries, managing inventory, and conducting regular stock counts.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with Deliveroo riders, ensuring accurate order dispatch and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and contribute to the overall efficiency of the HOP site.
• Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering orders accurately and promptly.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment, addressing any hazards promptly.
• Reporting and Analysis: Partner with the management team to monitor performance, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

This involves developing and implementing testing plans, identifying defects or deviations, and working with production teams to resolve quality issues. • Developing and executing test plans: Creating and implementing comprehensive testing strategies to assess product quality against specifications and standards.
• Performing inspections and tests: Conducting various inspections and tests throughout the production process to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Analysing test results: Analysing data from tests and inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Identifying and resolving defects: Working with production teams to identify and resolve defects, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Ensuring compliance: Ensuring that products and processes comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.

My responsibilities is to revolve around the efficient movement, storage, and tracking of materials and products within a facility. This includes receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping items, while also maintaining accurate inventory records and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving and Inspection: Material handlers receive incoming shipments, verify the accuracy of items against purchase orders, and inspect for any damages.
• Storage and Organization: They store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labelling and organization for easy retrieval.
• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory records, updating stock levels, and performing cycle counts are essential tasks.
• Order Fulfilment: Material handlers pick and pack items for orders, ensuring accuracy and preparing them for shipment.
• Loading and Unloading: load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transportation methods using appropriate equipment.
• Material Movement: Transport materials within the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations and address any issues.
• Quality Control: Inspecting materials for defects and reporting any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor are part of their duties.
• Record Keeping: Document all material movements and inventory changes, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
