Pre-operative assessment of patients for surgery ensuring proper tests/investigations are carried out (e.g. X-ray, ECG, Laboratory tests [CBC,Kidney/Liver functions, blood chemistry, etc.], -Intra-operative administration of anesthetics to render patients insensitive to pain during surgical procedures [administer local, intravenous, inhalational, spinal, epidural or other anesthetic according to accepted standard of medical practice],Monitor patients for signs of adverse reaction and initiate corrective action. -Talented in U/S guided nerve blocks in both adult and pediatrics( brachial plexus nerve blocks,Tap block,Quadratus lambarum block, lower limbs nerve blocks) also caudal block in pediatrics. - Supervise the post-operative care of patients; observing vital signs, ECG's, etc., and provide post-operative pain relief, - Oversee Intensive Care Patient as: inserting central lines, arterial lines and endotracheal tubes. Attach patients to ventilators; regulate the ventilator; advise the nurses regarding the on-going care of the patient; correct blood gases/blood pH and electrolyte imbalance as necessary
