As Assistant Manager Transmission and Grids I was responsible for overall maintenance and testing of 132kV grids through maintenance and P&I teams. As AM T&G my main tasks were: Cleaning and testing of Power transformers during commissioning, annual and bi-annual shutdowns. Mainly, IR, TTR, C&DF, DGA of transformer oil were performed on Power transformers. Furthermore, testing and cleaning of 132kV grid yard was done through maintenance teams. Usually LCM of lightning arrestors, contact resist of Isolators and SF6 circuit breakers and timings of opening and closing of the contacts of Circuit breakers are checked. Moreover, testing and maintenance of earthing contacts of power transformers and grid yard equipment is also performed. Work in 132kV control rooms included, commissioning, testing and operations of Relays through P&I teams, such as Distance relays, over-current relays, Buchholz relays, differential relays and DC supervision relays. 11kV control rooms main task were testing of Over-current relays, DC supervision relays and operational testing of CTs through P&I teams and Vidar and contact resistance testing of VCBs, Hi-pot testing of cables and 11kV lightening arrestors through maintenance teams. Maintenance and testing of DC rectifiers and Battery Backup through maintenance teams.As Assistant Manager Operation my main duties were: Ensuring continuity of supply from 132kV grid stations to consumer's end. Improving existing overhead MV and LV systems through new proposals and maintenance work. Reducing Line Losses through the curb of electricity theft. Re-address consumer complaints regarding power outages, hazards due to distribution systems. Ensuring accurate billing, distribution of bills and recovering billed amounts from consumers. Promoting Distributed Generations through different campaigns and facilitating consumers in installation of net metering facility. Checking NEPRA requirements for DGs installed at consumer's premise.

As Junior Maintenance Engineer I was responsible for overall maintenance, testing and operation of 132kV grid station of Bhanero Textile Mills Limited.
