· Work with students, teachers and parents to support students with additional educational needs

• Carryout IEP development, interventions, support lessons and meetings to support student’s success
• Monitor and report back on progress and impact of interventions implemented
• Work with and line manage Learning Support Assistants (formerly known as Shadow teachers) to ensure SOD students successful transition into school
• Work with teachers to support students both in and out of the classroom environment
• Work with parents on strategies to support their children within the home to ensure academic and holistic growth through workshops and small group meetings
• Work with the head of department and wider school community senior management team to develop experiences and activities for students’ holistic development and success within the school
• Maintain caseload summaries to establish trends within school and lesson records to support interventions
• Maintain student progress and external referral report writing

• · Coordinate with teaching staff and volunteers in supervision of the Education Unit Head.
• · Ensure that resources, necessary for carrying through the programs, are available.
• · Ensure that all teachers manage their students according to an agreed curriculum model, which reflects the needs of the children.
• · Reviewing children’s files and taking all required actions for checking the accuracy of the information in the files.
• · Co-supervising all children’s educational and entertainment activities, these activities should give the children chances to interact and socialize with peers.
• · Review the IEPs to ensure they are of appropriate standard and in conformity with the policy of the Center in coordination with the Education Unit.
• · Work within classes as and when required to assist teachers in curriculum development.
• · Coordinate the selection of program equipment and educational program supplies. Monitor storage, condition, and maintenance of supplies and equipment on site in order to make appropriate recommendations in coordination with the Education Unit.
• Observe ongoing teaching activities in order to plan for and provide ongoing support and resources and relevant in-service training sessions in coordination with the Education Unit.
• ·Following up with children’s registering and ensuring all data are shared with Finance and Administration in coordination with Coordinator/Administrative personnel.
• Evaluating the IEP’s, coordinating meetings for reviewing the IEP’s and taking all actions required in the light of the reviewing under the supervision of Education Unit Head.
• Attend and provide necessary presentations to external and internal group on behalf of DAC.
• Undertake any other duties according to the profession in agreement with the Director of the Center
