Handling the responsibility of managing and monitoring overall operations of fire department in AAM group for its projects & facility management combining of more than 60 buildings & 300 warehouses and reporting to owners

• Providing general information regarding department policies & procedure as per company code of conduct and making sure same to be followed by the intended ones.
• Liaising with finance department to prepare yearly budget plans of overall properties of the group related to related to projects and operational facilities.
• Attending meeting with consultant as client/main contractor to discuss the scope & design requirements of projects.
• Reviewing initial approved drawings submitted by consultant with its specifications and creating value engineering report to submit to higher management for their review.
• Ensuring that fire protection design & recommendation from consultants follows applicable local fire codes and various international codes as well (UAE code & NFPA code).
• Taking care of reviewing and issuing invitation tender to civil defense approved fire subcontractors in coordination with contracts department.
• Ensuring all pre-qualification documents submitted by various suppliers and sub-contractors during tender processing contain valid certificates, necessary government approvals and permits that ensure hassle free operations during running of the projects.
• Attending technical meetings against tenders with suppliers and subcontractors and making sure all design requirements, system specification requirement, project timeline along with work safety requirements are complying with by them.
• Performing regular site visits in coordination with project management team and ensuring work progress at site is as per approved drawings, approved system specifications and approved work method statements.
• Monitoring work progress report and making sure it is in line with targeted project completion baseline and updating the same to stakeholders.
• Ensuring all operation and maintenance manuals, testing & commission reports and as built drawings are properly taken over from project department during its handing over to facility management.
• Ensuring all submitted pre-qualification documents from various maintenance companies has compulsory valid certificates and government approvals to carry out the maintenance activity as per size of the property
• Responsible for planning and monitoring overall preventive maintenance work of hired subcontractors for the occupied properties
• Ensuring that hired subcontractors do their work as per contractual terms & conditions along with approved work method statement, risk assessment & checklist for all the fire systems
• Making sure of occupant's safety & making sure they should not get disturbed during maintenance activities offered by subcontractors
• Ensuring timely completion of PPM services of all fire system and signing off their reports after reviewing
• Coordinating with the procurement department for timely accruing of materials & equipment's that is required to keep all fire systems operational and in healthy condition all the time
• Implemented cost-effective fire protection solutions by negotiating with suppliers and monitoring project budgets, minimizing overruns while maintaining quality standards.
• Provided expert testimony in legal cases involving fire-related incidents or disputes, lending credibility to claims through professional analysis.

• Responsible for coordinating with project main contractor & consultant at site in order to make action plans before starting of work at respective project.
• Making sure that drawings are available and are approved by local authority and consultant before starting the work at site.
• Responsible for preparing and taking approvals on work method statements and risk assessments for the system going to be installed at projects.
• Making material & job compliance sheet as per system specifications and taking approvals from main contractors and consultants accordingly.
• Monitoring the site teamwork and making sure it is being carried out are as per approved drawings from local authority and consultant.
• Providing technical support that is required by the site team during their work.
• Assisting main contractor for site inspections with consultants and client whenever requested.
• Responsible for monitoring of work during pre-commissioning, commissioning, installation, programming & testing of fire protection systems.
• Monitoring and making sure that system testing & commission reports are duly signed off by consultant and main contractors.
• Assisting in carrying out civil defense authority inspections to get no objection certification ( NOC ) for the project.
• Responsible for inspecting properties for fire hazards and recommend adequate fire systems as per local authority & NFPA guidelines.

• Suggest ways to minimize fire nuisance alarms in the property.
• Prepared and presented technical reports on fire safety systems for both in-situ frameworks and proposed designs.
• Provide technical system training to clients & occupiers on how to respond during fire alarms & emergencies
• Responsible for coordinating with building insurance and 3rd party inspection as per client requirements
