- Managed the preparation of the supplier’s evaluation as per the manufacturer/supplier’s recommendation and best offer.

- Raised RFI for any discrepancy or lack of information from Authority Approved Drawings.

- Completed quality assurance on all electrical components and projects and writing up reports.

- Ensured all deadlines and budgetary requirements are met

- Followed up in project construction, Engineering & coordination, work progress, changes/ implications, as-built drawings, testing & commission, and project hand.

- Raised potential time cost impact report of variation to the Project Manager

- Oversaw electrical engineering goals and tasks performance, by reviewing and initiating electrical documents including IT and ELV systems, related to the project.

- Obtained Construction NOCs / Approved Drawings from concerned authorities (DEWA, ETISALAT, SIRA, RTA).

- Checked the activities on-site and provide the necessary reminders to the Project Director, Construction Manager and Planning Engineer for any immediate action.

- Supervised the production of coordination drawings to ensure that all services are coordinated with each other and the building structure is complying with the contract requirements.

- Ensured all builder’s works drawings are comprehensive and discussed with the various engineers for the best implementation and installation of services in coordination with other parties and the main contractor.

- Provided reminders, in advance, to the Project Director for any anticipated conflict that may happen in the future with respect to the simultaneous activities of all MEP trades and main contractors.

- Followed up on the status of material and shop drawings and kept all parties informed of the status and follow up on the implementation of the Client’s comments in a timely manner.

- Distributed detailed information, documents and regulations as applicable to all concerned parties and ensured their acknowledgement and adherence to its contents.

- Coordinated with the subcontractors; made sure all NOC/clearances are provided.

- At project close-out coordinated the production of as-built drawings to ensure they are delivered as per the contract requirements in terms of quality and time.

- Ensured As built drawing for Electrical System is as per the site installation

- Ensured Electrical services are undergone and pass the testing & commissioning

- Collected all warranty certificates related to Electrical System and ensured all are attached to the O & M Manual

- Stayed as DLP Engineer of the project during the Defects Liability Period.
