Provide existing and potential customers with a superior and consistent quality service, both directly and in conjunction with GHA. Provide information and system support to customers with regard to rates, details, bookings, connections, regulations and other enquiries and oversee the service from GHA. - Monitor and oversee the service provided by GHA to ensure it is in line with EK standards, including build instruction, maximisation of available space, load control, safety and ad hoc flight instruction. - Monitor import cargo receipt and breakdown; resolving any related issues. - Prepare and verify accurate cargo documentation, including monitoring of consignment status and ensuring correct documentation is available in accordance with local regulation and company policies. - Update flight handling reports including identification and monitoring of irregularities and discrepancies. - Dispatch post flight information to the correct departments in a timely manner. - Receive and process cargo reservations in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner. - Resolve customer queries, complaints and claims, including those escalated by Cargo Agents. - Complete administrative duties as directed by the Cargo Supervisor/Cargo Manager, including data entry, statistics and reports. - Provide support, guidance and coaching to Cargo Agents. - Provide operational support and cover operational duties as directed by the Cargo Manager. - ULD control reg with GHA/NOMAD.

Supervising and overseeing effectively operation and control of Cargo functions with optimum use of resources available • Counter supervision, cargo handling at ramp and warehouse, and acceptance of domestic cargo. AWB stock control, Space inventory, Outbound and Inbound cargo operation. • That includes Warehousing, flight planning, flight manifest, arrival cargo reconciliation and discrepancies handling. • Control and motivate the teams of cargo assistant, equipment operators and porters who are responsible for the processing and handling of cargo, mail, courier and all associated documentations. • The process such as cargo acceptance, ensuring that the cargo is packed in an appropriate way for the air carriage so that it can be carried safely with care at the same time keeping safety regulations for both persons and goods. • Load planning brief for effective coordination with Ramp officer and Load controllers. • Plan the loading of the cargo into carriage on the assigned aircraft in accordance with the priorities given and the volume & payload available, to achieve the optimum utilization of capacity. • Cargo delivery except as otherwise specifically provided in the Air Waybill or shipment record, delivery of the shipment made only to the consignee named there in, or his agent. • In international cargo maintaining of customs clearance. During loading and offloading of cargo, Filing of both E G M (export general manifest)and I G M(import general manifest) in the appropriate time, giving the job no’s to the custom SDO (staff duty officer ) during incoming of international cargo.

Ensure customer satisfaction and proactively address any customer grievances and complaints. Organizing leading and controlling airport handling functions, ensure safe cargo operations, space confirmation in transit flight, mail, O B C. • Coordinate with statutory authorities, agents to take care of irregularities and claim, traffic message • Conduct pre and post flight briefing, coordinate with supporting departments / sections, customer relation, conduct on job training. • Cargo planning for maximum enlistment. To take care of cargo irregularities and tracer messages. To ensure proper make up of loads and tallying of incoming cargo, transit cargo / mail. • Attend customer requirement proactively in normal situation, to handle counter responsibilities on requirements. Cargo is received at cargo warehouse; cargo is checked short landing / damage. Cargo requiring special handling is sorted out and stored as per rules. • AWB is studied for payment details, contents, pieces, and weight. Details entered in Cargo Delivery Register. Perishable cargo is delivered immediately after charges due are collected. Cargo stored in designated areas in cargo warehouse.
