Key Responsibilities:

• Welding Review & Witness Inspection
  Review and witness welding activities performed by subcontractor NSH to ensure compliance with EPC project specifications, international codes (ASME IX, AWS D1.1/D1.6, API 1104), and client requirements.
  Witness Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including RT, UT, PT, MT to verify quality and acceptability of welds.
• Flange, Pipe, and Joint Verification
  Inspect and verify flange alignment, bolting, and pipe fit-up prior to welding or assembly.
  Identify deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented per EPC standards.
• Documentation & Reporting
  Maintain accurate records of inspection observations, NCRs, weld maps, and test results.
  Review WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Records) before execution.
• Coordination & Compliance
  Coordinate with Technimont EPC engineers, subcontractor NSH teams, and client inspectors to resolve site welding and piping issues.
  Ensure adherence to EPC quality standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.
• Client & Third-Party Support
  Support client inspections, audits, and final acceptance of welding activities.
  Ensure subcontractor workmanship aligns with EPC project requirements.

CLIENT: AKAKUS OIL OPERATION

PROJECTS: PIPLE LINE & TANKS

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducted welding inspections as per project specifications, ITPs, and international standards (ASME, AWS, ISO, API).
• Verified WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications to ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Monitored fit-up, root pass, filler passes, and final welds for structural, piping, and pressure vessels.
• Performed dimensional and visual inspection of weld joints, fillet welds, butt welds, and repair welds.
• Coordinated with client representatives ( Akakus Oil Operations) for weld inspection and final approval.
• Reviewed material certificates, welding consumables, and ensured traceability of heat numbers.

• Performed third-party welding and NDT inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, ITPs, and international codes (ASME, AWS, ISO, API, EN standards).
• Reviewed and approved WPS, PQR, and welder qualifications prior to production welding.
• Conducted surveillance of welding activities including fit-up, preheat, inter-pass temperature, and final weld quality.
• Witnessed and evaluated NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) for weld acceptance as per project standards.
