• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.
• Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
• Obtain all necessary permits and licenses. Develop or implement quality control programs.

PROJECT ENGINEER (M-1006/14-RTA)

• Project Unpaved Roads and Earthworks. Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
• Test soils or materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel. Identify environmental risks and develop risk management strategies for civil engineering projects.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects. Monitor operations to ensure that health and safety standards are met.
• Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, crawler tractors, power cranes, shovels, graders, or related equipment.
• Operate compactors, scrapers, or rollers to level, compact, or cover refuse at disposal grounds.
