Follows the day-to-day operations related to own job - Discusses safety concerns openly and reports them to the relevant supervisor

• Guides and assists the team of Loaders and Equipment Operators in cargo handling activities (build-up, breakdown, acceptance and delivery, documentation of cargo, courier and mail) in line with the standards

• Inspects and validates against relevant documentation and counts goods at every point of delivery, acceptance, breakdown and build-up to ensure that goods conform to relevant criteria and are dispatched in line with the standard work procedures

• Coordinates with Government Authorities such as Customs, Municipality, Health or Police in an efficient and effective manner to ensure smooth movement of all cargo, courier and mail - Handles and loads all special cargo (dangerous goods, live animals, valuable goods, etc..) in line with IATA manuals.

• Coordinates with Ramp Operations team for Inbound and Outbound Flights

Identifying Future Hiring needs and Developing Job Descriptions and Specifications

• Collaborate with the Department/Line Managers if they are having any shortage of Manpower in their Operations for the Recruitment
• Assessing Applicant’s Knowledge, Skills and Experience to best suit for Open Positions
• Complete Documentation for Onboarding candidates and Background verification of candidates.
• Negotiate with the New Joiners on their Joining dates
• Manage and Schedule the Trainings, OJTs to the Candidates
• Conducting Audits and Career Reviews on Employees
• Keeping up-to-date on Current Employment Legislation and Regulations and enforcing them within the Company (Policy Development and Documentation).

Assigns the manpower and equipment for Inbound/Outbound Cargo Transport Assignments as per DMIS Schedule Aligned to EK Business Requirements on Perishable Cargo, General Cargo and Trucking.

• Prioritizes the Dispatch of Cargo/Mail units based on the Departure Time either to Aircraft.
• Based on the Post Departure Offload Message or advised by EK/Dnata Ramp Team, ensures to Shift Offloaded Cargo from the Parking Stand to Designated Drop-off Point as determined by EK
• Based on the Inbound ULD Distribution List Information/CPM and Flight ETA, allocates Drivers to collect and Deliver Units from the Aircraft Bay aligned to EK SLA vice-versa
• For Special Requests from EK (Temperature Sensitive Cargo) Monitors & Follows up as required for Expedited Delivery
• Receives Cargo from the Emirates SkyCentral Terminal Warehouse Locations and Inbound flights (Ramp Transfers)
