Storage Administrator Responsibilities:

• Performing Daily Health Performing Daily health check to monitor the usage of LUN, Aggregate and volume utilization. Checking the storage critical Events. Controlling & Monitoring Network Interface. Checking the status of aggregate and volume usage using DFM. Volume resize, aggregate disk adds and LUN resize. Check to monitor the usage of LUN, Aggregate and volume utilization.

vSphere vMware Administrator Responsibilities:

• Provide tools and procedures for resources provisioning, Design high availability, Detect and Troubleshoot vMware issues. Detect and Troubleshoot common guest / host issues.
• Server Hardware Maintenance:
• Performing Server Hardware Daily Check, Configure and Upgrade Servers Equipment if needed.

Network and Security Responsibilities:

• Enterprise network security strategy, solutions, and ongoing technology refresh and enhancements
• Analyze firewall rules to categorize / prioritize the rules and recommend remediation action plans based on Client’s Application types and Domain Boundary environment.
• Configuring firewall rules to meets organization requirements.
• Review Client’s server / systems configuration & make recommendations as to best location for each.
• Monitoring and analyze network performance LAN, WAN, wireless.
• Install and configure all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, Alcon Access Point.
• Inspect, maintain, and where necessary replace network cabling, voice/data jacks, and other network-related equipment.
• Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsources, and contractors to ensure network products and services.
• Established network specifications and analyzed workflow, access, information and security requirements.
• Designed proactive preventive maintenance schedules to prevent unnecessary downtime and hardware faults.

Windows Server Responsibilities:

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory group policies, login scripts, DNS and DHCP
• Maintain Active Directory and virtual servers
• Build and configure Windows and vMware servers
• Responsible for production support activities for facilities operations to ensure the security and stability of the environment
• Involves technical understanding of architecture and environments supported
• Participating in system design improvements and performance enhancements
• Participate in Business Continuity Planning and Exercises as needed

• Provide support for all Information Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions, troubleshooting problems, teaching or instructing customers regarding software or hardware functionality, and communicating policy. Additionally, it may involve troubleshooting printer issues.
• Determines the most effective manner to resolve client's technical issue. Engages in research and in-depth troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. Consults with full-time staff when necessary.
• Records required customer and problem information in the Mange Engine Service Desk Ticket System. Updates tickets with appropriate journal entries of activities, and closes tickets with resolution entered upon completion of the job.
• Resolves Level 1 work orders. Elevates complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution.
• Verifies that suggested solutions effectively resolve the users' problems through verbal or email follow up.
• Collaborated with other teams to identify and resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
