I started my work career in 1996 in Abu Dhabi airport services in passenger services as a check-in officer until 1999.
From 1999 until June 2000, I worked in Union National Bank (Union National Bank) as an operation officer.
I moved to Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank in December 2000, where I worked for 25 years. I first was in operation as chief teller from December 2000 to 2006. Next, I worked from 2006 to 2009 in real estate finance/home financing. Then, I moved to the control department/internal control pre-audit and after-audit from 2009 to 2017. The achievement was successful audit rating for consistently 7 years for branches all around the UAE. Additionally, there was an achievement of many cases of fraud investigation and losses recovery in branches around the UAE.
In 2018, I moved to the banking automation and digitalization (for branch services). My role was team leader, leading 20 staff (smart bankers) and managing 21 ITM machines all over the UAE, covering ADIB branches, and the achievement was a new banking digitalization project: ITM project (interactive teller machine) for cash and service operation, cheque and cash deposit and withdrawal, digital account opening, new card and card replacement, cheque book request, customer information update. The overall achievement of digitalization was to move 20% of customers from branches to machine and digital banking, and to move 60% of teller and service transactions from branches to machine and digital banking. The third overall achievement was reducing branch staff and reducing operation cost. This period was from 2018 to 2022.
In 2023, I moved to a new digital project, which was checkbook request automation. My role was team leader, managing 15 staff, including onboard and outboard. The achievement was, first, moving 70% of customer requests (checkbook) from branches to machine and online to achieve the target of increasing up to 70% of digital banking service (checkbook request). The second achievement was reducing normal and special checkbook request transactions from branches to machines and online. The third achievement was reducing checkbook request cost. The fourth and last achievement was reducing checkbook request fraud and reducing operational loss. The period was from January 2023 to May 2025, and then I resigned to establish my own private business.
