- Determine the total number of ULDs required for baggage, cargo, mail & courier (where total baggage ULDS should be based on the passenger forecast)
- Apply seasonal trend information to determine the average baggage weight and number of ULDs required for baggage loading.
- While planning cargo, keep in mind the unexpected increase or drop of passenger and baggage load as well as provide sufficient buffer when allocating baggage ULDs
- Based on passenger & baggage figures, and the total cargo load, determine the total payload available, check maximum zero fuel weight or payload restrictions for particular aircraft type
