• Preparation, implementation, monitoring, revision and updating of the project specific Contract Quality Plan.
• Development, preparation, implementation and monitoring of all projects Specific QA/QC procedures, ITP and Method Statement.

Job responsibilities

Procurement & Material Inspection

• Review material requisitions and purchase orders to ensure compliance with Engineering and contract requirements.
• Conducted supplier and manufacturer evaluations to assess status and approvals.
• Coordinated third-party inspections (TPI) and monitored resident inspectors to ensure timely inspection completion.
• Managed raw material inspections, including piping, pipelines, valves, painting, and welding consumables, ensuring all materials met project specifications.
• Participated in Vendor/Client Kick-Off and Schedule Meetings, ensuring proper coordination of procurement activities.
• Issued inspection release notes based on the Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), ensuring all materials were ready for use.
• Quality Assurance & Control
• Developed quality procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), and quality control documentation based on project specifications and industry standards (ASME, AWS, ISO).
• Ensured the timely execution of quality control plans and inspections, overseeing project activities to maintain strict adherence to quality standards.
• Conducted stage-wise inspections in line with the approved ITP and client specifications, ensuring the highest standards were maintained throughout all project phases.

• Performed receiving inspections on all project materials, verifying compliance with purchase orders and Material Test Certificates (MTCs).
• Ensured proper material storage and handling as per manufacturers' recommendations and project specifications.
• Monitored stage-wise welding operations, ensuring compliance with approved ITPs, specifications, and client requirements.
• Verified welding consumables and their usage, ensuring proper records were maintained for all materials.
• Reviewed IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, prepared welding maps, and monitored welder performance to control weld repairs and reduce rework.
• Coordinated with Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) teams, witnessing NDT activities and ensuring all welds met the required standards before submitting reports to clients.
• Verified weld log sheets to ensure completeness of NDT requirements and final joint inspections.

• Inspected and recorded atmospheric conditions prior to surface preparation and painting activities, ensuring compliance with client specifications at every stage.
• Performed surface preparation inspections, verifying substrate conditions and ensuring proper profile height and cleanliness.
• Monitored and recorded wet and dry film thickness, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Performed blotter tests, dust particle tests, and salt contamination tests, ensuring surface cleanliness before painting.
• Verified correct color coding and inspected the application of each coat of paint, ensuring compliance with client specifications and the approved Technical Data Sheets (TDS).
• Conducted adhesion tests (Dolly tests) and recorded results, ensuring the final paint system met client requirements.
