- EPCM & EPC- E&I Section Head plays a critical role in overseeing all E&I-related activities across the EPCM project lifecycle.
- Prepare engineering deliverables for electrical installations.
- Develop material submittals for electrical equipment procurement (MV/Transformer, Generator, LV and HV switchgear, power and control cables, Load Disconnect Switches, Cable Management System).
- Coordinate with cathodic protection specialists for designing permanent and temporary CP systems for structures, well heads, and pipelines.
- Attend LV system inspections with DEWA engineers.
- Perform cable size calculations and create Single Line Diagrams.
- Create drawings for electrical equipment locations, cable routing, and cable tray layouts.
- Generate electrical and control cable schedules and estimate cable quantities.
- Prepare standard support drawings for electrical equipment installation.
- Coordinate with vendors.
- Compile weekly and monthly work progress reports to manage project schedules and billing.
- Apply knowledge of Quality Control Systems to prepare QCPs and ITPs related to process equipment.
- Develop As-built drawings.
- Review engineering drawings and documents for constructability and compliance with contract requirements.
- Review project contracts, identify concerns, and plan kick-off meetings.
- Liaise with clients, attend meetings, and address project deliverables.
- Organize weekly review meetings with contractors to discuss progress and resolve issues.
- Implement installations according to approved designs.
- Participate in tendering processes for electrical and instrumentation projects.
- Review tender documents, prepare BOQs, specifications, and data sheets.
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing and raise technical clarifications.
- Conduct site surveys for tendering purposes.
- Evaluate bids and prepare MTOs.
- Provide technical evaluations for cathodic protection systems.
- Oversee erection and commissioning activities.
- Manage street lighting cable laying and pole installation.
- Install feeder pillars for street lighting with photocells.
- Monitor subcontractor work progress and prepare daily reports.
- Raise erection bills and ensure customer clearance.
- Verify subcontractor bills against drawings.
- Coordinate with clients for inspections and project progress.
- Prepare site progress reports and quality documents.
- Coordinate HSE activities at various sites.
- Procure and supply materials for projects.
- Erect LV and HV panels, capacitor banks, AMF panels, power distribution boards, and lighting distribution boards.
- Wire conduits for lighting installations.
