Summary


I have been in the Airline industry for past 20 yrs of which 4 yrs with Jet airways (I) Pvt.Ltd and 16 yrs with Emirates Airline. With these years, I have learned and gained plenty of knowledge and experience in the operational and the non-operational areas. My experience is coupled with 9 yrs of airport operations and 11 yrs as Operations Efficiency Coordinator with EKAS Business support.


My current role entails;
• Monthly planning and scheduling; using the Resource Management systems (GS Planning-INFORM) based on latest flight schedule, passenger loads, engagement standards, shift
functions and qualifications.
• Generate monthly Resource Planning scenarios based on the seat factor and joining load to update Workload demand profiles.
• Produce and maintain optimized, efficient and economic rosters for EKAS using Employee Scheduling system by reviewing and validating Demand vs Supply of resources for every critical function.
• Generates monthly PLS files using the defined GS planning (Planning System) scenario model for assigned areas and share with Support services team for named roster generation
in SPX (Roster System).
• Prepares Current/Future Flight Operating Plan for EK & FZ as per latest available info.
• Maintain department wise Engagement Standards and ensure same is aligned with RTC
• Generate and maintain reports in GS Planning, such as: Flight schedules/Demands for future planning and comparison purposes and task reports for validation of engagement standards.
• Generate staff count, qualifications and staff shift reports from SPX rostering system for rostering purposes.


Recently I have been recognized with a BRONZE Najm for my contribution towards efficient testing and implementation of new SPX Rostering system while ensuring business continuity by attending to ongoing responsibilities. The project for the new rostering system was with INERFLEX on SPX Smart Client which went live on 12 Sep2022.

  • Responsible for monthly demand planning generation using the Resource Management systems (GS Planning-INFORM) based on latest flight schedule, passenger loads, engagement standards, shift functions and qualifications.
  • Generate monthly Resource Planning scenarios based on the seat factor and joining load to update Workload demand profiles.
  • Generates monthly PLS and NAM files using the defined GS planning scenario model for all EKAS areas and shares with the team for roster generation in SPX.
  • Produce and maintain optimized, efficient and economic rosters for EKAS using Employee Scheduling system by reviewing and validating Demand vs Supply of resources for every Critical Function.
  • Update/amend the area wise Engagement Standards in GS Planning as and when received from the OE Controllers.
  • Generate and maintain reports in GS Planning, such as: Flight schedule, Demands for future planning and comparison purposes, Task reports for validation of engagement standards etc.
  • Generate staff count, qualifications and staff shift reports from SPX rostering system for validations and rostering purposes.
  • Maintains regular co-ordination and communication with the Line Controllers, RTC and EGIT to ensure that the systems deliver the desired operational results and are configured in line with business needs.
  • Responsible for the issuance of resourceful rosters for Emirates Airport Services as required by the Operations Efficiency Controller and ensure enough staffing levels are available to accomplish the target
  • Continuously keep up-to-date on the resource levels agreed through co-ordination with the relevant Line Controllers
  • Make decisions on all the local/emergency/unplanned leave requests in coordination with Line Controllers
  • Record transactional data in appropriate systems and produce reports as required
  • Coordinate with IT and provide solutions for any discrepancies on the Systems for Planning, Rosters, Attendances and HR.

  • Controlling and Monitoring Flights by verifying operating data such as registration, configuration, time and on-load passengers as per Emirates Standard Procedures and Priorities after getting emigration clearance for those required
  • Make sure to CLOSE the Flight on time without causing any delay
  • Edit all the Flights departing from Dubai 60Hrs prior departure, by verifying all the operational data's and passenger requirements.

  • I ventured into aviation industry in the year 2003 as an Airport Services Agent with Jet Airways
  • This acquired me considerable exposure, numerous opportunities to face the challenges and to expand the boundaries of knowledge and experience
  • Got an opportunity to be trained in all the areas of work with regards to airline operations such as:
  • Handle Ticketing, Reservations, Check-in & Boarding
  • Load Control- To prepare Load & Trim Sheet in accordance with aircraft limitations set by the manufacturers maintaining the Centre of Gravity at all times within the time frame
  • Ground Dispatch- Take charge of all the ground activities while aircraft on ground and coordinate with all the departments to make sure the aircraft is departed on time with all the guidelines and regulations set
  • Handle baggage and cargo along with administrational work.
