Performs the daily pharmaceutical operations including preparation, verification, labelling, appropriate dispensing and delivery of medications in compliance with DOH rules and regulations.

• Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physicians medication orders/prescriptions and detects any therapeutic incompatibilities.

• Prepares and labels pharmaceuticals and verifies medication order entries, charges and inspections in line with the Medicina operational requirements.

• Assists in implementing clinical programs like smoking free program and Breast cancer awerness, initiatives and services to ensure patient safety and quality healthcare delivery.

• Protects patients and pharmacy caregivers by adhering to infection-control protocols.

• Provides support to the pharmacy team in all logistics related activities.

• Develops and maintains proper documentation on patient medication profiles in an accurate and timely manner.

• Interpreted prescription orders, dispensed medications, and counseled patients on drugs.
• Educated patients about possible drug interactions and gave special administration instructions.
• Maintained appropriate drug records and completed reports as necessary.
