• Spearheaded all health care activities for a diverse range of wild captive species, encompassing domesticated and non-domesticated ungulates, avian, feline, canine, reptiles, large and small mammals, focusing on health, nutrition, and biosecurity.
• Playing significant role in conservation and breeding, especially for endangered species. Managing breeding programs, enuring genetic diversity, and healthy offsprings, and collaborate with other Zoo and Wildlife Facilities.
• Ensuring the physical needs of animals are met by carefully considering the five freedom of animals. This includes habitat enrichment, ensuring sufficient space, and meeting AZA Standard of species specific requirements.
• Help to conduct educational programs for visitors, sharing insight about wildlife conservation, animal behavior, and environmental issues. Also lead workshop and trainings for Zoo Staff on animal care and health.
• Involved in making high level decisions about zoo operations, including animal acquisitions, exhibit designs and collaborations with external research institute for wildlife studies.
• Utilized the Zoological Information Management System (ZIMS), ensuring accurate and organized documentation of animal health records.
