  • Implements de-escalation techniques: tries as much as possible to avoid a power struggle and escalation of behavior between myself and the child and also among peers and ensure the safety of the child and others in the classroom.
  • Keeps track of the child's academic and behavioral progress, documenting any improvements or challenges. Thus, use the data to make informed decisions about the child's support strategies.
  • Adopting emotional regulation; takes the child out of the classroom for a break whenever the pupil feels tired, bored, or disruptive in the classroom.
