• Monitoring the condition of all firefighting equipment and lifesaving appliances and performing HSE Training to personnel on these items
• Ensuring gas monitoring (for any entry into a confined space, or, during operations in an area with a potential hazard to the atmosphere) is conducted
• Monitoring the daily updating of personnel movements and ensuring the muster station bills are updated (offshore)

• Develop and maintain the Project HSE Management System and procedures relating to Safe Work Practice, Emergency Response and Environment Protection
• Ensure the Construction Risk Assessment Plan is developed
• Liaise with Project Engineering Manager and Lead HSE Engineer on all HSE matters relating to HSE Studies and HSE Engineering
• Assign responsibility for monitoring of Safety performance/KPIs and take necessary actions to achieve targets
• Monitor and ensure the Project HSE Management System is interfaced with COMPANY HSEMS and implemented
• Ensure all incidents / near misses / unsafe acts / unsafe conditions are reported, analyzed and corrective actions implemented
• Ensure all incidents / near misses are investigated and preventive measures enforced to avoid repetition and identify any trends
• Prepare the monthly HSE statistics and submit to the Project Director
• Ensure pro-active HSE activities are conducted with active participation of the workforce.
