Project Overview:

This project is a key component of Odex Technology's online document exchange and payments facilitation platform for the ocean shipping industry. The smart document parser extracts and converts structured data from shipping-related files like PDFs and CSVs into machine-readable JSON. Crucially, it incorporates an advanced AI model capable of automatically identifying different document types and applying the correct parsing logic. This AI also monitors incoming documents and sends notifications when a new, previously unrecognized PDF document type is encountered, allowing for rapid adaptation and model enhancement.

Contributions:

• Developed and maintained robust and responsive user interfaces using React, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for uploading and processing files, integrating seamlessly into the product orchestration using DevOps tools.
• Designed and developed intuitive UI/UX that adapts for modern internet applications, leveraging the latest frontend technologies to enhance user experience.
• Collaborated effectively with backend teams building logic with FastAPI (Python), focusing on efficient data exchange and system integration, particularly for the AI model's operations.
