PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Qatar National Library People Mover System package in education city. Indoor people mover platform dedicated for elderly and handicapped users.

PROJECT CLIENT & CONSULTANT:

Qatar Foundation & ASTAD Project Management.

PROJECT REVIEW:

• Indoor People mover system allows the user to move along a 2-D track, this system equipped with self leveling system.
• In total 3 people mover lines respectively installed along side the facade.
• It consist of 2track with rack & pinion system and allen bradley drive system.
• Electrically powered up by Vahle Bus bar system which runs parallel to the track and equipped with coaxial system for PLC communication.

Responsibilities:

• Complete responsible for managing , execute, handover the project related MEP works.
• Key responsibility include commitment to ensure timely completion of project within approved budgets on cost, resources without compromising on Quality & Safety.
• Other responsibility Attending regular meetings ( on WORK progress, coordination, design, etc. ) with sub Contractor and Consultant.
• Monitoring project budgets and schedule and oversee performance to ensure on time, quality and on budget project execution.
• Coordinate with the design team on all aspects of the design.
• Prepare periodic reports for management including status of variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities & safety records.
• Ensure that the health and safety requirements are provided and that they comply with authorities regulations.
• Analyze drawings, specifications and statements of work in the preparation of activity networks for project resource planning and scheduling.
• Prepare plans and schedules, status reports and performance evaluation.

Achievements:

• Successful completion of People Mover system in Qatar National Library.
• On time completion of MEP work to allow fellow teams to proceed other trade activities.
• Successful completion of testing & commissioning of the system.
• Obtained successful approval from civil defense authority.
• Proper handing over of system by submitting O&M manual in accordance with project dossier.
• Arranging System training to the client maintenance team from system specialist.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Downtown phase 1C is mixed commercial , school and residential development in heart of Doha, Qatar.

PROJECT REVIEW:

• Phase 1C development comprises of 3 blocks consisting school, commercial and residential buildings under one premises.
• There are 6 residential building, 9 independent duplex villas with dedicated underground car parking.
• As well commercial building occupied by Vodafone qatar and may retail outlet in downtown.
• Project also consist of solar power and water system.

Responsibilities:

• Achieved zero LTI.
• Obtained Civil Defence approval with first instance.

New Doha International Airport(HIA) Consolidated rental Car Park Facilities:

PROJECT REVIEW:

• Consolidated rental Car Facilities comprises of vehicle storage, car wash, fuel station.
• Approximate parking of 1500 car under one facilities.
• Facilities providing access to HIA directly to assist customer boarding.

Responsibilities:

• Complete installation of underground services like electrical duct banks, underground cast iron pipes for drainage system.
• With wide range of experience in handling special system sub-contractor for installation of CCTV.
• Vehicle access control system and fuel management with car wash facility.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Qatar National Library.

PROJECT CLIENT & MEP CONSULTANT:

Qatar Foundation & Louis Berger International.

PROJECT REVIEW:

• Library with over 1 million books including heritage collection.
• Book Sorting system with conveyors.
• Project involved with misting system and several fire suppression system.

Responsibilities:

• Complete responsible for managing , executing , electrical related system installation.
• Key responsibility to ensure timely completion of electrical system installation and allowing T&C activities.
• Other responsibility Attending regular meetings with suppliers, sub contractors and consultants.
• Monitoring project progress and updating to senior management on weekly basis.
• Coordinated with the design team on all aspects of the design.
• Maintaining al approved document on site for site team easy accessing.
• Coordinated with other MEP disciplines to achieve the project requirement.
• Upon job completion raising Work Inspection request to QA QC department.
• Maintaining reduced number of work rejection by MEP consultant.

Achievements:

• Witnessed Factory testing of MV panels, Generator panels in EATON factory in Netherland.
• Witnessed factory testing CBS, UPS batteries in HBK factory Hyderabad, INDIA.
• Handled all type of electrical system installation including HV cable laying .
• Achieved all project critical milestone.
• Coordinated with other MEP disciplines to achieve project requirements
• Actively involved in Testing and commissioning of electrical system like MV panel, generator, CBS,UPS and roof extract fan system

• Twin tower with 4 basement and 9 podium levels.
• Twin Tower 74 hotel apartments.
• Hotels with 1000 guest rooms and 15 restaurants

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handled all installation of electrical equipment’s like LV panels, generator, CBS systems, UPS systems.
• Involved in day-to-day site activities with subcontractor for project successful completion.
• Conducting meeting between main and sub contractor to sort out site installation issues.
• Coordinating with mechanical and plumbing system for interfacing all power and interfacing devices.
• Involved in successful approval of Dubai civil defense, and also experience in special systems like Room Management System and testing and commissioning.
• Preparing As built drawing and getting approval from consultant.
• Maintaining less number of NCR and Work Inspection rejection from MEP consultant.
• Carried out testing activities of electrical systems like MV panels . generator systems.

• Hotel tower consists of 30 floor including intermediate mechanical floor and basement car park

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Installation of electrical equipment’s like LV panels, central battery panels, UPS.
• Carried out testing and commissioning activities of Generators, UPS and cause and effect matrix testing.
• Involved in getting civil defense approval.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Burj Residence Phase 3 & Phase 2.

PROJECT CLIENT & MEP CONSULTANT:

EMAAR & MACE International.

PROJECT REVIEW:

• Phase 3 consist of 6 towers with 32 floors and swimming pools with two basement car park.
• Phase 2 consist of 3 towers with 32 floors and swimming pools with two basement car park.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Involved in electrical first fix installation during slab pouring.
• Involved in major equipment’s installation like LV panels, generator, central battery system, access control system.
• Involved inTesting and commissioning and also successful involvement to get civil defense approval to hand over the project to client on time.
