Job Purpose:

Developing and managing Innovation related processes and activities in line with DEWA objectives & strategy - Managing the AFKARI & Ebtikari platform. Ensure designs and workshop approach is scrutinize prior to event. Ensure that new programs/innovation workshops are identified and developed, and current programs are effectively managed and performance monitored. Manage Innovation events and conferences.

  • Policies & Procedures: Lead the development of relevant policies and procedures pertaining to the Innovation department

  • Relationship Management: Identify and maintain the relationships between the Innovation department and its various stakeholders to ensure constant communication and understanding of their needs.
  • Support development and maintaining of innovation and creativity procedures related to DEWA internal and external events, initiatives, Awards, etc. Prepare, monitor and allocate the sponsorship capital budget.
  • Design and develop appropriate checklists and action plans, review the actual results, analyze variances between the targeted and actual results, etc., and wherever necessary.

Job Purpose:

Support Suggestion Scheme by ensuring that it is monitored effectively and efficiently to ensure compatibility with set targets and objectives. Challenging part of job:

  • Conducting research on database and SRS workflow to compile various reports and to assure their accuracy with verification on sources available.
  • Compiling and presenting of special reports as well as monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual for KPI's (i.e. suggestion & suggestor rate, implementation/rejection rate, suggestion process time, suggestion categories, accumulated savings/revenue, rewards paid, with comparison over time and by Area) to enable efficient monitoring of such success factors against set objectives and targets.
  • Summarizing and maintaining up-to-date records on departmental performance, reflecting & benchmarking status and success of suggestion scheme within and across departments for information of respective Heads and Management. Formulate specialized and specific reports for initial application and successful participation of BU's representing Dubai World, assisting them in applying for various prestigious local business recognition events such as Dubai Government Excellence Awards, Dubai Quality Awards, etc. as and when required.
