- Conduct maintenance and repairs on assembly shop equipment and machinery to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Assist in the assembly of various products by following assembly procedures and ensuring the correct use of tools and equipment.
- Participate in quality control processes, inspecting components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize JD Edwards software to manage parts and materials inventory, including tracking, replenishing, and reporting on stock levels.
- Safely handle and transport materials and parts within the assembly shop, ensuring that they are readily available for use in assembly projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the assembly shop, promoting a culture of safety among the team.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, assembly activities, and inventory movements using JD Edwards or other relevant software.
- Keep the workshop clean and well-organized to facilitate efficient operations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the expediting and planning teams to order parts and materials as needed to support assembly projects, ensuring timely delivery.
- Troubleshoot equipment and machinery issues as they arise, diagnosing problems and implementing necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
