As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our Country Club members, guests, and visitors. Duties include offering administrative support across the organization. You will greet members and guests who visits the office in a professional and welcoming manner. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence, answering and directing phone calls, responding to phone messages in a timely manner, and handling mail and other clerical duties.
Promptly and politely greets and welcomes all visitors that arrive at the office.
Directs visitors and callers to the appropriate staff member utilizing employee and department.
Maintains full knowledge of the administrative staff, ownership, management company.
Provides general and accurate information regarding routine inquiries from members, and refers non-routine, sensitive, and
/or complex request for information and other inquiries.
Be familiar with procedures for handling all aspects of customer inquiries, complaints, or disputes.
Responsible for the gathering and management of data pertaining to new membership registration and keeps record up to date. Assists new members with registration, check in and membership assignment following proper procedures.
Process payments via credit card, check, and member charge accounts.
Ensure reception area is tidy, clutter free and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures.)
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail deliveries.
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (member systems, logbook, and visitors’ cards).
Performs other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, transcribing, data Entry and record keeping.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed, and in a timely manner.
