- Knowledge about materials inspection and testing process standards like ASME BPVC SEC-IX, ASME SEC-V for NDT Testing & Inspection & ASME B 31.1 power piping & B31.3 process piping
- Annual audits attempting and facing for API & PED (2014/68/EU)
- Knowledge about manufacturing process & testing of valves (Gate, Globe, Ball, Check, Butterfly & Plug valves) for the raw material incoming in process & final inspection and hydrotest inspection as per API 598 & 6D and blasting & painting for final products
- Monitoring the weld parameters of different welding process (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, PTAW & FCAW) in accordance with WPS

- Preparing the weld history sheets & evaluate % of repair & penalty records
- Inspection of preheating, inter pass temperature, PWHT & final visual & other required NDE testing
- Knowledge of work permits arrangements like hot & cold work environment
- Strictly follows and implements to the HSE safety precautions & using for personal PPE's during all working time
- Promoted and champions the HSE goal of zero accidental incidents
- Works with project HSE to ensure the contractors comply with the company HSE policies, procedures rules & regulations
- Monitoring and conduct the incoming, in process & final inspection as per project requirements
- Process stage wise inspection activities for NDT testing like PWHT, MPT, PT, VT, UT, PMI & RT testing film interpretation and inspection witness report readiness & submitting to the clients
- Appointing Third party inspections & coordinating with TPI/Clients for work inspections
- Monitoring and testing and / or approval of yards and sub-contracted welders
- Identification of Metallurgical requirements of materials
- Prepare and qualifies Welding Procedures in accordance with clients, classification Projects
- Studies and verifies with Project rules the applicable documents
- Arrange retesting of renewal of welder's certificates, as and when required
- Ensure implementation of quality assurance system procedures in all activities
- Visual inspection of welds
- Ensure welders are working qualified to the applicable WPS
- Prepare summary reports for restoration of test package and submit to QC Manager
- Support and coordinate with NDT activities
- Preparing Welding Surveillance Report
- Identifying the materials (pipes, flanges, fittings etc.,) as per the material take of lists during the fabrication
- Prepare inspection request prior to accept the construction piping /welding work and releasing of fabricated pipelines in order to prepare certification for the completed items
- Co-ordinate with construction and QC department
- Identifying the material as per the isometric drawing during the fabrication
- Co-ordination with client and sub-vendors QC personnel for inspection activities
- Preparation & Review of ITP / PQP, various procedures related to project
- Reviewing final Packages for Hydro-Tests, approving & releasing for Hydro-Test
- After completion of Hydro-test arranging all Documents from subcontractors in set Package and submitting it to client
- Conducting Dye Penetrate (Visible and Fluorescent method) as per procedure and interpretation, Documentation /Report Writing
- Magnetic Particle Inspection by yoke method for Structural and Pipe weld joints, Interpretation and Documentation
- Plate lamination Checking
- Interpretation of Radiographs of Weldments against various codes and standards
- Carried out NDT Inspection of Weldments during fabrication and shutdown
- Ultrasonic Examination of Raw Materials, Butt welds, various structures, piping and Thickness survey of pressure vessels, piping, reactors etc., Liquid Penetrate Testing Hands on Experience and Witness, Interpretation and Repair Identification as per procedures and clearance for Radiography.
