• My scope of practice includes caring for patients of all ages and focusing on patients’ physical, psychological and social health needs.
  
  Evaluating and diagnosing patients, including prioritising sick cases, stabilising them, and referring to specialities for specialised courses of treatments.
  
  Familiar with managing and providing initial care in medical and surgical emergencies like acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, sudden arrest, acute cerebrovascular accidents, seizures, ARDS, DIC, sepsis, acute abdomen, GI bleeding etc.
  
  Working productively in a pressurised and busy environment.
  
  Working in flexible work schedules with different work hours.
  
  Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and other healthcare professionals daily -Advising patients and responding to their queries related to health and treatment. Counselling skills and the ability to listen actively to patients in a non-judgemental manner.
  
  Keeping up to date with the latest treatments, medicines and medical developments.
  
  Maintaining accurate medical records and documenting patient case history in detail.
  Familiar with computers and commonly used software packages.
  
  Maintaining confidentiality of patients, families, colleagues and any sensitive situation. Excellent bedside manner and time management skills.
  
  Performing as a team leader to resuscitate patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality CPR.
  
  Performing procedures like splinting, suturing of lacerations, insertion of NG tube, Foleys catheterisation, intraosseous and intravenous peripheral line placement, arterial blood gas taping, nasal packing, local analgesia and regional blocks.
  
  Presenting cases in weekly meetings. Willing to continue learning throughout my career.
  
  COVID-19 experience – treating and stabilising desaturating and sick covid19 patients and working under pressure in the pandemic, in isolation and in COVID emergency sections.
