• Supervises subordinate personnel including, hiring, determining workload and delegating assignments, training, monitoring and evaluating performance, and initiating corrective or disciplinary actions.
• To obtain maximum control of expenditure through the effective use of the manpower and the physical assets of the hotel under the control of the room division and therefore to maximize the profitability of the unit by always seeking new ideas for promotions and increasing revenue.
• Coordinates and assigns projects; provides assistance in resolving problems; address system changes and establishes priorities.
• Plans and allocates resources to ensure that the company policies are fully implemented.
• Establishes cleaning and/or preventative maintenance schedules and coordinates these activities.
• Reviews and/or inspects work for quality, accuracy, and completeness.
• Ensures that there is an adequate supply of materials available. Orders, receives, inspects, and stores equipment, merchandise, commodities, materials, and/or supplies.
• Assist in budget including revenues, expenditures and budget projection, etc.
• Managing and directing the activities of both guest and in-house laundry, making inspection trips through the entire area, checking on production method and procedures. Checks washing formulas, making corrections and improvements when required.
• Responsible for the day to day operation and supervision of the Laundry
• Develops and implements standard operating procedures, as well as production and quality standards. Conducts training as per the SOP when required.
