Roles And Responsibilities

  • Work as directed on the station of assignment under the appropriate sous chef.
  • Supervising the Set-up station properly and on time for each service period.
  • I make sure all food is prepared by recipes designated by the executive chef or sous-chef I make sure food quality and quantity meet our standards.
  • I make sure food is sent to the correct area on time.
  • Be able to work in another area when needed and take part in cross training when directed.
  • Be able to assist in same-day preparation and advance preparation for another station as instructed by the sous chef.
  • I follow the clean-as-you-go policy and keeps the work area clean at all times.
  • Mantling all food items for storage must be covered with cling film, dated, labeled, and initiated by the per Attend meetings and briefings for kitchen staff
  • Supervises the Commis chefs' and kitchen hands' work
  • I prepare recipes and I manage the food cost as well
